Legal Director - Volunteer Position

Reporting to the President, the Legal Director will have the opportunity to shape the vision and chart the strategic course of the BMSJC legal program including recruiting, developing and overseeing the litigation of high- impact cases in collaboration with the Litigation Committee of the Board of Directors. Current areas of focus include access to benefits, children’s rights, disability rights, discrimination, domestic violence, due process, environmental justice, healthcare, homelessness, housing, Native American rights, prisoners’ rights, refugee and immigration rights, and veterans’ rights.
