The Barbara McDowell Public Interest Law Center conducts and coordinates state and national issue advocacy to promote, protect, and defend the civil rights of underrepresented communities. 

We partner and collaborate with social justice organizations to educate the public about how to achieve the greatest impact in accomplishing social justice.

We do not engage in direct or grassroots lobbying as a substantial part of our activities, nor do we participate in, or intervene in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for public office. No part of our net earnings will inure the benefit of any private shareholder or individual.
